About DeRango's Pizza Palace

Domenico DeRango and his wife Mirella came to the United States on December 3, 1959 with their two young children Benny and Carmela and not much else. After a brief time at Belle City foundry, they found their calling at his brother's restaurant.

Meanwhile, the family grew with the birth of another son Robert. After years of working for his brother, Domenico and Mirella decided that it was time to go on their own. Therefore, on March 22, 1977, they opened their restaurant at the present location.

After years of hard work, the DeRango family expanded the restaurant to include a bar and a private room for banquets. The family has increased to include Benny’s wife Silvana and their children Domenico, Mirella and Melissa, and Carmela’s husband Ralph and their children Ada and Amanda. The DeRango family is dedicated to bringing you the best that Italian cuisine has to offer. To this day, the whole family not only runs the restaurant but also works there. This is what makes DeRango's Pizza Palace one of the few truly family owned and operated restaurants in the area.
